As a kid, during summer months, I enjoyed exploring the open fields around my house. Summer always reminds me of sunshine, blooming flowers, grasshoppers and the sound of crickets. This painting, like many of my paintings, is part memory, part imagination. This painting is one of my paintings created during 2017 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love.
