Photography on 1 inch Acrylic
12" x 8" unframed
This series, Synchronicity, explores Carl Jung’s concept of "meaningful coincidences”—events that occur with no causal relationship yet seem to be meaningfully related. Shot in busy public spaces, anonymous figures pass each other at a frenetic pace, blending into each other, and creating ambiguous new shapes. Past, present, and future overlap. Ghosts appear in the crowd. Patterns emerge from chaos.
These images were captured using multiple exposures, and encased in thick acrylic blocks. They can be displayed individually, or in “meaningful” clusters of several images.
