I usually paint listening to a Quebecois artist, Dan Bigras, whose songs are poems to my ears.  I have a compiled list of 47 songs and I named the painting "48 songs" as an homage to that great singer-poet.  There is movement and multiples layers, each inspired by his lyrics and messages from where I come from. He keeps me grounded.
