This piece was completed on new year's eve of 2019. In naming it I thought that it had indeed gone in the direction of complete abandon and exuberance that we sometimes feel on new year's eve. But the strong "window" form tries to anchor the action. The collage paper of flying cranes is a favorite Japanese paper conveying good luck for the new year.
