Acrylic and Cheesecloth on canvas


20" x 16" x 1.5" unframed


This piece was inspired by texture. I always experiment with different materials in my paintings to provide texture. I glued ripped apart Cheesecloth to the canvas to give it a web like appearance. I added layers of slate, blue-grey acrylic paint to give the piece more depth and decided to keep it simple and monochromatic.
