The name Pink Martini reflects a few different parts of my creative process: first of all my delight in working with these wonderfully intense pigment dispersions on canvas, and secondly the light-hearted, pure enjoyment of music as well. The humor of the unexpected, and the ebullient combinations of these colors reminds me of the wonderful genre-bending music of the band Pink Martini.
