There is confusion surrounding spiritual belief. The presence of “spirituality” in our reality is so nuanced and mysterious. It feels impossible to know anything for certain. Around every corner are pits and traps, designed to reel people in and take advantage of them. Yet there are stories of healing, genuine happiness and fulfillment amidst the same pits and traps. Are we to risk falling victim to a system of belief, with the sliver of a possibility that we might, on the other hand, achieve some sort of ultimate realization? Or is it better to believe nothing at all?
