THE WIND PASSES OVER IT AND IT IS GONE
Oil on linen mounted on panel
40" x 60" x 2" unframed
The Wind Passes Over It and It Is Gone is a diptych landscape representing a border wall - the dissection of the land and the people who inhabit it. In the painting, the wall becomes a part of the landscape, but like the land, it is tenuous and subject to the whims of both the natural and man-made world.
