Rob Grad was signed to RCA Records before his 21st birthday and found himself on a wild ride of making albums, videos, touring and appearing on MTV. During days off on tour, he visited museums.
In 2010, Rob created his first solo show featuring images of his travels, layers of plexiglass, and other materials. Since then, his work has become more complex and sculptural, combining shapes, layers and images, with his abstract paintings and words.
He has shown during Art Basel, Switzerland and SCOPE Miami. His work hangs in the San Francisco Airport, and he is currently working on two large scale commissions that will be installed early 2020. He also gave a TEDx Talk in Culver City, California about authenticity and the internal muse.
