MOLLY
My drawings and paintings develop organically over time, often emanating from experience within a particular place. Various bodies of work connect and reference other periods of within my work, via expression, color and tactility. My process is a search to find alchemy in the mix between a basic unit: A mark or stroke and how it transitions to the pictorial — yet remains a painted moment. As I work, I hope to discover something that leaps beyond my opening questions, something that I recognize and that resonates, while leaving room to wonder. |
