LAURA
PAINTER, ABSTRACTIONIST, POLYMATH Laura creates abstracted landscapes with oil paint, working with both subtle and pronounced interplays of color. She constructs visual puzzles which challenge viewers to travel into and over and through enigmatic terrain. Laura's art practice uses this language of movement through the landscape to communicate the idea of harmony between seemingly disparate concepts. Laura lives and works in downtown Los Angeles. Enjoy tinkering with electronics, making and eating good food, and travelling by train. Find me listening to a symphony concert or the sounds of the city or the sea, or in my LA studio. |
