ARTIST, SAN FRANCISCO, ABSTRACTIONS Kathryn, as an artist, loves working with abstractions to express what cannot be expressed easily in words. The paintings and works on paper feature coincidental, accidental and unexpected connections developing almost limitless spaces and fields of color. Doing what others do not do, venturing into the unknown, is like exploring into the wilderness, a place with few words. Enjoy hiking in the wilderness, especially the Sierra, photography - taking photographs of wilderness areas, and experimenting with digital art apps. In my spare time, find me in Yosemite, at the nearby ocean going on long walks, or at my SF studio. |
