ABSTRACTION, COLOR, EXPRESSIONISM I am a painter whose work, though abstract, is derived from nature, especially the forces in nature such as wind, water, heat, and the fertility of the land. I live in the Lower Hudson River Valley, near the river, and work in a studio building which is part of a pre-civil war complex, a former textile mill with a stream running through. My primary concern is to harness the immense power of color. Enjoy gardening, music - classical and jazz, and singing in a chorus; music informs my painting. Find me in my NY studio! |
