I am an American artist living and working in New York. My paintings have been exhibited throughout the United States with recent shows in New York City, Brooklyn, and Los Angeles. My intense love of colors found in nature is a driving force that compels me to paint. The subject of my work is often where the land and water meet. I like to push the boundaries of realism into abstraction as my compositions form. With an atmospheric tonal approach, I hope to convey the emotional connection that I experienced with each scene. By focusing on the energy of a place instead of describing an actual representation, I hope my work gives its viewers a sense of connectedness to a special place they themselves visited. |
