PAINTER, ABSTRACTS, COLORIST
I use gardening to keep balance. In the rock filled pocket of earth I tend, this is like hard labor, done with pickaxe in hand. I enjoy contemporary literature or when escape is called for, a good 'who-done-it'. The process of painting is like a relationship; there's a lot of give and take with little misunderstandings to attend to. Often I find myself in unchartered territory but that's part of the joy.
Spare time is spent in the garden or walking the family dogs along the local paths. Some days you'll find me in the kitchen cooking a small feast to share with family and friends. Other days you can find me in my studio.

I studied social sciences in college. Later I became a set and fashion stylist in commercial photography for 13 years after the birth of the web, transitioned into a career in design. I have 2 children, now adults, They are still reinventing the world for me, an act that I am grateful for.
Recently my work was selected by Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce for a solo show. One of my pieces was also featured on Saatchi Art online.
